The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is a men’s professional basketball league in the Philippines composed of ten company-branded franchised teams. It was the first professional basketball league in Asia and is the second oldest in the world after the NBA.
The series revolves around Ki Seung-nyang, a Goryeo-born woman who ascends to power despite the restrictions of the era’s class system, later marrying Emperor Huizong to become an empress of the Yuan Dynasty. The series depicts her loves and political ambitions as she is torn between the two nations.
